Crosbie Matthew in the Fife Community and beyond
All of us at Crosbie Matthew live locally in Fife, and all of us are committed to supporting our local community. We each have an annual allocation for a charity of our choice, and in this way we’ve supported all sorts of initiatives from after-school clubs to rescue dog and cat charities.
Remembrance Christmas Tree
During December we have a remembrance tree in our Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, Dalgety Bay and Rosyth Funeral Homes, where we welcome donations for various local causes including the Kirkcaldy Foodbank and Samaritans, Glenrothes Age Concern and Dalgety in Bloom.
Local Sports Clubs; Bowling, Football, Rugby and Golf
We sponsor an advertisement board in the local bowling and golf clubs in Fife.

Mercy Ships
Mercy ships are crewed by volunteer doctors, nurses, water engineers and agriculturalists. They visit some of the world’s poorest countries to bring hope, support, knowledge and healing to thousands of people.

Raffle Prizes; Local events
We like to donate a raffle prize to fundraising events in the local Care Homes and other local events; schools, charities.
Please email us with the event details.

Midwifery Courses
We give an annual presentation to second and third year students at the Kirkcaldy campus of the University of Dundee School of Nursing and Midwifery.
We covers topics such as changing practices in the care of the deceased, giving bereaved relatives correct information and paperwork, and helping families to understand what happens next. Also explaining the role of the Funeral Director and the embalmer, what happens during the cremation process and what happens behind the scenes.

Roundabouts
We sponsor the planting of colourful, seasonal flowers at the roundabouts near our offices in Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes and Dalgety Bay to enrich the natural environment of the local area for everyone to enjoy.
