Lilian’s family wish to thank everyone who attended the service on 3rd December 2015. Sincere thanks to Rev Robin McAlpine for conducting a warm and meaningful service to celebrate Lilian’s active and interesting life; to the friends and relatives who sent tributes of flowers and many many cards, thank you. Please know that they are a comfort and a help to the family. Lilian was a very caring and generous lady who was loved by all who knew her; to the staff at Marchmont Care Home we also day thank you, you did a great job looking after Lilian, you kept her happy and she felt loved by all of you. We are left without her wit and laughter and the world is a sadder place without her. We wish to thank the doctors and staff at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy for their expert and loving care during Lilian’s stay there, she was treated with dignity and extreme kindness and we are most grateful to all of you. Lastly but not least, thank you to the staff of Crosbie Matthew for their expert and caring handling of the funeral arrangements. Thank you and God Bless you all.
